Ace Retail Holdings is relocating its store support center from Lenexa to an Overland Park location.

The center, currently located at 14000 Marshall Drive in Lenexa, announced it is moving its operations to 7500 West 110th St., Suite 100 in Overland Park. The new office space will occupy approximately 32,500 sq. ft. across three floors, according to a release. Renovations are set to begin immediately, with occupancy planned in the fourth quarter of 2025.

The new location will house approximately 130 associates from key departments, such as finance, IT, human resources, marketing, merchandising, and operations. The SSC is the operational hub that supports the company’s 250+ retail locations nationwide.

“Westlake Ace Hardware, and more recently Ace Retail Holdings, has proudly called the greater Kansas City area home since opening our first store here in 1975 and the original Store Support Center in 2004,” president and CEO of Ace Retail Holdings, Joe Jeffries, said in the release. “It’s exciting to expand and reinforce our commitment to the Kansas City area as an employer and neighbor.”

Westlake Ace Hardware currently owns and operates 30 stores in the greater Kansas City metropolitan area, with new locations planned for Shawnee, Kan., and Grain Valley, Mo., within the coming 12-14 months. Its parent company, Ace Retail Holdings, owns more than 250 hardware stores throughout the country.

In November 2024, Westlake Ace Hardware announced that its Olathe store would relocate to a former Walgreens location, opening in late March 2025. Then, in February, Westlake announced it had signed an agreement to build a new store in the Monticello Shopping Center in Shawnee. The new Shawnee store will have approximately 12,500 square feet of retail space located along Kansas Highway 7.
