A Tulsa development company already planning a large apartment complex in Belton is adding another to its list with The Falls, a 275-unit complex that will be build near the Bass Pro Shop site in Independence.
Case & Associates Properties received approval from the Independence city planners last month for the project, which will feature 142 two-bedroom units and 133 with single bedrooms. Plans filed with the city call for units that would rent from between $1000 to $1,300 a month, and with sizes from 789 to 1,267 square feet.
Following current trends in market-rate multifamily construction, it would include a clubhouse, game room, fitness center, media center, pool and dog park.
Kansas City’s hot market for multifamily construction had already drawn Case & Associates to the area with its Center 301 development in Belton, a $34 million project that will feature similar amenities with a slightly larger footprint, 306 units.
