RubinBrown LLP has named Megan Knoblauch, who is based in the firm’s Kansas City office, as assistant managing partner of the firm.
In addition to becoming assistant managing partner for the firm, Knoblauch will continue to be based in Kansas City and serve in her current role as the Kansas City Office’s managing partner, according to a release. Knoblauch is a past recipient of Ingram’s 40 Under Forty Class of 2023 feature.
She began her new role as assistant managing partner on February 1.
“It is a great privilege to be able to represent RubinBrown in the community and profession, and be able to keep focus on inspiring our teams to deliver the best possible experience for our clients,” Knoblauch said in the release.
She will work closely with managing partner, Steven Harris and the firm’s chairman, John Herber, Jr.
Knoblauch first joined RubinBrown in 2006. She would become a partner for the firm’s assurance services in 2016, promoted to partner-in-charge of assurance services for the Kansas City office in 2019, and then took on the role of managing partner for the Kansas City office in 2024, according to her LinkedIn profile.
Knoblauch earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Kansas.

The firm operates offices in Chicago, Denver, Detroit, Kansas City, Las Vegas, Nashville and an India-based office located in Mumbai. The firm also generates more than $250 million in annual revenue.
