MegaKC Announces Promotion of Ryan Mills to COO

North Kansas City-based MegaKC has promoted Ryan Mills to chief operating officer of the construction company.

Ryan brings 13 years of experience at MegaKC to the role of COO. He began her service at MegaKC as a construction manager in 2013. He would then be promoted to his most recent role as vice president of operations in 2020.

“Ryan’s leadership, experience, and deep understanding of our operations make him the right choice for this role,” MegaKC president Tyler Wesselman said in a LinkedIn post. “The COO position is central to how we execute our strategy as we grow, and Ryan brings the structure, discipline, and accountability needed to support our teams and deliver consistent results for our clients and communities.”

Before joining MegaKC, Mills worked as a superintendent at Keiwit for over seven years.

Founded in 1992, MegaKC is an employee-owned construction company with a portfolio of projects within the Kansas City metro area, including parks and recreational facilities, trail systems and structural concrete to water treatment plants as well as wastewater facilities.
