Six local individuals will be recognized for their contributions and achievements in sports and fitness with the following awards:

  • Children’s Mercy Rising Star Award
  • Lockton Courage Award
  • Kissick Construction Game Changer Award
  • UMB Lifetime Sportswoman Award
  • Hallmark Cards Leadership Award
  • BKD WOW Award

Area high school female state champions are featured as part of the “Celebration of Champions March.”

The 2019 event will take place Feb. 8 at the Kansas City Convention Center. More details will later be announced.
