Light the Night is The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s walk to celebrate and commemorate lives touched by cancer. During this special evening walk held on Sept 30th, 6,000 fundraising participants will gather at Cleveland University-Kansas City to enjoy a pre-walk carnival complete with food, entertainment, fireworks and games.  Following the carnival, walkers will “Light the Night” along a leisurely paced one mile route by carrying illuminated lanterns- red for supporters, white for survivors and gold in memory of loved ones lost to cancer.   Following the walk there will be a Light the Late Night concert put on by Twice on Sunday.
