Niles Home invites the community to participate in the 2015 Niles 5K Run/Walk at 9:00 A.M. on Saturday, September 26. Proceeds from the 5K Run/Walk will help Niles Home restore hope for traumatized, abused and neglected children in the Kansas City community. Registration for the 5K is $30 and can be completed by visiting http://nileshomekc.org/niles5k.html ($35 day of race beginning at 7:30 A.M.).

The Niles Home mission is “to meet the mental health and educational needs of at-risk children and their families, empowering them to become confident and contributing members of society.” Programs target youth and families primarily from the urban core of Kansas City.

The Inaugural 5K Run/Walk in 2014 resulted in new community partnerships and supporters for Niles Home, and it helped bring awareness to the mission and important role Niles Home has played over its 132-year history within the urban core community. You can help us build on that momentum in 2015 through your participation. We hope to see you on September 26 at Niles Home!
