KC Symphony: Star Wars IV

Journey back to 1977 and a galaxy far, far away for the classic first film of the original “Star Wars” trilogy, written and directed by George Lucas and starring Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher. You’ll watch the Rebel Alliance attempt to destroy the Death Star on a huge screen in Helzberg Hall while your Kansas City Symphony performs the thrilling John Williams score live. It will take place at the Kauffman Center from Jan. 31 through Feb. 3. The first two nights will start at 7 p.m., Saturday’s will be at 2 p.m., and Sunday’s performance will start at 4 p.m. Tickets are not on sale yet.
