A Paranormal Evening with Alice Cooper
Monday, August 6, 2018 at 7:30 PM
Muriel Kauffman Theatre | Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts
Alice Cooper topped album sales charts worldwide with his 2017 album, Paranormal. Cooper is recognized for pioneering a grandly theatrical brand of rock. Known as the architect of shock rock, Cooper – in both the original Alice Cooper band and as a solo artist – has rattled the cages and undermined the authority of generations of guardians of the status quo. After the band’s 1972 Top 10 track “School’s Out,” Cooper’s solo career skyrocketed in the late 1970s with a succession of hit singles, including the ballad “You and Me.” In the 1980s Cooper explored different sounds leading to his melodic hard rock album Trash, which featured the massive single “Poison.” Join Alice Cooper for a paranormal evening that includes the dark and horror-themed theatrics he’s known for.
Tickets for this event range from $49 to $109 plus applicable fees and go on sale to the public at 10 a.m. Friday, March 16. Tickets and VIP packages will be available through the Kauffman Center Box Office at (816) 994-7222, via the Kauffman Center mobile app, or online at www.kauffmancenter.org.
