The Symphony League’s major event is the Symphony Ball, offered every September, where people enjoy a gourmet dinner, bid on unique items at a silent auction, listen to the Symphony perform an imaginative program led by Music Director Michael Stern, and dance to the music of one of Kansas City’s own unique dance bands.
