Kansas City-area women business owners will have the opportunity to learn about growing their businesses through government contracting at the ChallengeHER Kansas City event. Hosted by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), Women Impacting Public Policy (WIPP) and American Express OPEN, the free event will offer valuable advice from government officials and successful small business contractors to teach women business owners about the benefits of selling their goods and services to the government.

Additionally, attendees can sign up to participate in Contract Connections, one-on-one meetings with procurement officials, government buyers and prime contractors.
