Celebrate our nation’s independence with explosions of color and texture on the land and in

the air at this popular annual event. Plan to arrive early to stake out a seat on the grass with

your picnic blanket. Guests can partake of several hands-on activities during the afternoon and

enjoy our blooms in the ground. When the sun goes down, the Lee’s Summit Symphony will

accompany the booms in the sky. This festival features food and beverage vendors all day.

Festival admission and parking fees apply. Powell Gardens members get in free to the festival

and receive free parking!
