This year’s Boo Ball proceeds will help provide transportable cardiac monitors for 14 patient rooms in the ED, which is the busiest in Lee’s Summit. The equipment provides uninterrupted cardiac monitoring for ED patients as they are transported to various areas of the department and hospital for diagnosis. In the fast-paced emergency environment, a continuous flow of information helps ensure consistent care and safety for each patient. In 2015,Saint Luke’s East Hospital treated more than 46,000 patients—an average of 130 a day.Your support with a Boo Ball sponsorship will help all of our patients get the comprehensive emergency care they need.
