The American Royal Hilary Watson Memorial Cutting Horse Show will hit the dirt at Hale Arena for a public performance on August 27. Cutting, one of the world’s fastest growing equine sports, involves a horse and rider separating a particular cow from the herd. The Saturday evening competition, syndicated by the National Cutting Horse Association, will feature open and non-pro competitors and bridleless cutting in a dance-like performance between the cow and horse. Event announcers create an energized, fast-paced, educational experience for all attendees – from the first-timer to the avid equine enthusiast.
