A la Mode features guitarist/composer Clayton DeLong with vocalist/percussionist Jesica Poell. Born in California and raised in Kansas City, Clayton began playing guitar at age 16. He holds a Bachelor of Music degree from University of Missouri Kansas City, Conservatory of Music where he studied jazz guitar under Kansas City greats such as Rod Fleeman, Danny Embrey and Bobby Watson. Jessica has studied classical voice and performed on stages from Arrowhead Stadium to Carnegie Hall to the Plaza Art Fair and is a Chaz favorite. The A la Mode duo performs jazz from standards to French gypsy, Latin and swing.
