The 2019 58th Annual Greater Kansas City Mayors’ Prayer Breakfast will be held Tuesday morning, February 26th in the Kay Barnes Ballroom at the downtown Kansas City, Missouri Convention Center, beginning at 7:30 a.m. through 9:00 a.m.

Guest Speaker will be KATHY NELSON, President & CEO of the Kansas City Sports Committee and Foundation.

More than 900 persons are expected to attend the 2019 Breakfast co-sponsored by more than thirty area Mayors. This year the Breakfast will benefit Restoration House of Kansas City, a local, faith-based group providing physical needs and recovery for survivors of sex trafficking.

The Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast organization was founded in 1961 by Kansas City, Missouri banker Clair Schroeder and then Kansas City, MO Mayor H. Roe Bartle to emphasize ethics, morality and spirituality in business, the professions and government. The first Greater Kansas City Mayors’ Prayer Breakfast was held February 22, 1962, in the years since thousands of individuals have attended and taken part in the annual breakfasts.
