As co-chairs of the 2025 Women’s Employment Network (WEN) Annual Luncheon, we are thrilled to invite you to join us on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at the Sheraton Kansas City Hotel at Crown Center for an inspiring and impactful event. It is a privilege to serve as co-chairs once again, having both previously chaired this luncheon and served as WEN board chairs. Our ongoing involvement reflects our deep belief in WEN and its critical role in empowering women in our community.
This year, our theme celebrates the power of dynamic duos — because partnerships are at the heart of WEN’s success. WEN and you, board and volunteers, clients and community partners, employers and job seekers: together, these partnerships drive positive change, fueling opportunities for women and advancing our community. Nearly 40 years ago, Beth K. Smith and Marjorie Powell Allen — another dynamic duo — founded WEN with a shared vision to help women rebuild their lives. Today, that vision continues, strengthened by the collaborative spirit that unites us in our mission to empower women seeking new opportunities to reclaim their independence.
