Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of miniature railroading at the 2018 National Train Show! The show is run in conjunction with the annual National Model Railroad Association Convention, which this year takes place in Kansas City, MO. This once-in-a-generation event includes more than 180,000 square feet of exhibit space with over 40,000 square feet of operating modular train layouts brought in specifically for this event, hands-on demonstrations, exhibits from the world’s best-known train manufacturers, hundreds of booths of trains and accessories for sale, and more. Die-hard train collectors and novice hobbyists will find it hard to resist the lure of the world’s greatest hobby!
It will be at the Kansas City Convention Center from Aug. 10 through 12. Children 5 and under are admitted for free. Friday’s hours are noon to 6 p.m., Saturday’s are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday’s are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
