Work Begins on New Lenexa Logistics Center Facility

A groundbreaking ceremony by Block Real Estate Services has kickstarted construction on a distribution facility for countertop and flooring supplier, MS International. The planned 200,800 square-foot building within the industrial park will serve as warehouse and office space for the company.

The planned 200,800 square-foot building within the industrial park will serve as warehouse and office space for the company. 

BRES, along with ARCO’s Kansas City office, is standing up the Lenexa Logistics Centre North Building 11 for MS International. Members of the project team, MSI and local officials, spoke at the event, including MSI Founder Manu Shah and Lenexa Mayor Michael Boehm.
 
“This isn’t a story about MSI; it’s about America,” said Shah, MSI’s founder. “In no other country could a 5-foot-3 immigrant start a company in a basement and now provide 200,000 jobs.”
