Wichita-based Vantage Point Properties has officially made its move into the Kansas City market. This week the real estate company closed on a plot of land around I-435 and Renner Blvd in Lenexa. Dubbed Reflections at City Center, this site has been chosen to be the eventual home of a 315,000-square-foot office complex, which will include reflection pools and restaurants.
“It’s exciting to put a stake in the ground here in Kansas City,” Paul Jackson, president and founder of Vantage Point, said in a statement from the company. “We are attracted to the stability of the Kansas City market. It has a track record of steady growth. And Lenexa is the perfect spot for our first project. We are honored and eager to bring this development to life for the city of Lenexa, its residents and the companies that will soon call Reflections at City Center home.”
With Colliers marketing the property for lease, ground will break on this new development as soon as the anchor tenant is secured, and Jackson says Vantage Point’s vision is to create a property that is aesthetically and functionally different from other office parks in Kansas City. “Every detail – walkable paths, architectural lighting, and sculptures – will come together to create a comfortable, enjoyable place to work,” Jackson said.
