Whole Foods Market will open a new store in Overland Park, relocating the already-established store to make way for a larger footprint in the area.
The new 45,791-square-foot store will be located at 11900 Metcalf Ave., on Nov. 15 at 9 a.m. CST, according to a news release. This new location will replace the previous Overland Park store at 6621 W 119th St.
The new store features over 750 local products, an upgraded coffee bar and expanded indoor and outdoor eating areas.
In 2021, Whole Foods first announced it had plans to relocate its Overland Park store, however, plans were pushed due to several delays caused by supply shortages.
