Westlake Ace Hardware announced it will soon be hosting a grand opening event for its third location in Lee’s Summit.
The new Westlake Ace Hardware in Lee’s Summit, located at 3511 S.W. Market Street near the intersection of Highways 150 and 291, will host grand opening events Feb. 15-19. The 15,000-square-foot store features products such as lawn and garden supplies, fasteners, tools, plumbing, and electrical supplies.
In addition to offering automotive key-cutting, car fob replacement and propane tank exchange, the store will feature specialty departments, according to a release.
The store will be led by general manager, Julia Manker, who was recently the general manager of the company’s Brookside location in Kansas City. Manker joined Westlake Ace in 2017.
Westlake Ace currently operates two other stores in Lee’s Summit, located at 103 S. 291 Hwy. and 444 S.W. Ward Rd. With the addition of this new retail space, the company now owns and operates 31 stores in the greater Kansas City metropolitan region.
According to the release, the grand opening will feature a sale Feb. 16-19, featuring 20 percent off most purchases.
In December, Westlake Ace Hardware announced it had signed an agreement to open a new store in Overland Park, with a soft opening scheduled for the second quarter of 2024.
