Insurance agency Walnut Risk Management will be moving its corporate office out of the Kansas City Downtown and into the Aspiria campus in Overland Park.
Walnut’s corporate office currently operates at 1100 Walnut St., however, the firm hopes to move into its new home by June.
Construction began on the 5,640-square-foot office space at the Aspiria campus in January.
“With our search for a new headquarters we were looking for more space and a blank slate that we could design to accommodate our current team members,” Walnut Risk Management Principal Greg Rasby said in a release. “We also wanted a space that would allow for our future growth and foster collaboration for our team.”
The Aspiria campus is managed by Wichita-based commercial real estate company, Occidental Management.
“We’re excited to have Walnut Risk Management move their headquarters to the Aspiria campus and offer an elevated workplace experience for their employees and clients,” senior vice president for Occidental Management Inc., Hunter Johnson said in the release. “This newest addition shows the rapidly growing momentum of companies leasing and moving to the Aspiria campus.”
Walnut Risk Management specializes in full-service commercial and personal insurance brokerage.
