VanTrust Real Estate announced it has begun work on building a new 577,500-square-foot facility in Raymore.

The new building is designed to meet the needs of industrial users and will feature state-of-the-art amenities, sustainable design, and efficient site circulation, according to a release.

The project is dubbed Building 4 at the Raymore Commerce Center at South Dean Avenue near Interstate 49. The building will feature over 40-foot-high ceilings, numerous dock positions with modern dock equipment, trailer storage, and employee parking.

Building 4 is scheduled for completion in August 2026.

“This Class A facility will bridge modern design and amenities with a flexible layout catering to a wide range of potential users,” Director of Development at VanTrust Real Estate, Adam Barnard, said in the release. “The pro-business climate and diverse employee base are obvious reasons companies are choosing to locate in Raymore, and why it’s one of the fastest growing cities in the metro. We are beyond excited to launch Building 4 at Raymore Commerce Center.”

Building 4 is the second building to be constructed in Raymore Commerce Center’s second phase of expansion. The 2.1 million square foot first phase expansion incorporated companies such as Nuuly, Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits, Harmar Mobility, and A4 Apparel into the center. Raymore Commerce Center’s second phase began with the infrastructure improvements along Dean Avenue and E. 195th Street and continued with the development of Building 5 which broke ground in the spring of 2025, and plans to begin operations in Summer 2026.

VanTrust has partnered with Brinkmann Constructors as the general contractor, GBA Architects, Olsson Engineers, and Colliers as the exclusive brokerage team for the Building 4 project.

Last week, the Leawood City Council voted to approve a mixed-use rezoning for Hallbrook North, a $765 million project being developed by VanTrust Real Estate. Hallbrook North is under consideration as the new headquarters for Kansas City-based Lockton Companies.
