U.S. nursing homes release reform agenda due to COVID



A national association representing more than 14,000 nursing homes and other long term care facilities across the U.S. has released a Care For Our Seniors Act. Prompted in large part by difficulties caused by COVID-19, the agenda addresses systemic issues facing the long-term care sector.

A new reform agenda from the American Health Care Association has been released called the Care For Our Seniors Act.

The agenda sets out to address systemic issues facing long term care sector and to learn from ongoing an COVID-19.

The act aims to improve nursing homes by learning from tragedy & implementing bold solutions for the future.

The American Health Care Association represents more than 14,000 nursing homes and other long term care facilities across the country that provide care to approximately five million people each year.

An association of more than 5,000 aging services providers including nursing homes released the Care For Our Seniors Act to address long-standing challenges affecting the quality of care provided in America’s nursing homes.
