Two Kansas City Banks Break Top 5 in Best of State

As part of the sixth annual ranking of the Best Banks In Each State 2023, Commerce Bancshares, Inc. and UMB have broke reached a rank of fourth and fifth respectively based on the banks’ attention to community financing.

Nodaway Valley Bank, Central Bancompany and First State Community Bank ranked above the two KC banks.

The finding was recorded by surveying approximately 31,000 U.S. residents and asked to name all the banks where they have checking and savings accounts. The survey was then evaluated based on criteria such as customer service, financial advice quality offered, transparent and reasonable fees, ease of navigating the company website, on-location branch services and the overall level of trust in the company.

Furthermore, an additional list ranked the best credit unions for each state. CommunityAmerica Credit Union was named the best credit union to work with.
