CC Capital Advisors, an investment firm previously affiliated with Country Club Bank, announced it has gone fully independent and will rebrand as Turnstone Investment Banking.

Founded in 1994, CC Capital Advisors originally launched as Christenberry Collet & Co. Country Club Bank acquired the firm in 2009, where it has been operated under the CC Capital Advisors name for fifteen years. Turnstone is headquartered in Mission Woods, Kansas, located at 2001 Shawnee Mission Pkwy Ste 110.

The Turnstone team comprises eight members, led by Managing Director John Hense. Collectively, the team has over 100 years of investment banking experience, according to a release.

“Thirty years ago, we set out to deliver sophisticated M&A and capital-raising advice with the personal touch that Midwest owners expect and deserve,” Turnstone Founder and Managing Director, Terry Christenberry, said in the release. “Just as the products and services provided by Wall Street have changed dramatically since we started Christenberry Collet & Co., so have the skillsets needed to provide those services at the highest level. Fortunately, we have been able to recruit and retain top-quality investment banking talent needed to best serve our clients in today’s environment.”

Omaha-based FNBO officially closed its acquisition of Country Club Bank in October, adding nearly $2.2 billion in assets under management. Following the acquisition, FNBO operates 120 branches and has nearly $35 billion in assets across its nine-state footprint in Nebraska, Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, Wyoming, South Dakota, Illinois, Texas and Iowa.

The firm chose to rebrand to the name Turnstone, to symbolizes it’s role in helping clients uncover hidden value and navigate pivotal turning points.

The firm will continue to serve family and founder-owned companies across industrials, business services & technology, construction & engineering, consumer products & services, agribusiness & animal health, and power, telecom and infrastructure services.
