Kansas City-based TranSystems announced it is adding a full-service engineering and consulting firm to its roster of acquisitions, expanding its Washington footprint with a 75-person team.
Washington-based BCE Engineers, Inc., established in 1986, provides design services on design-build, design-bid-build, surveys, studies and specialized task order projects. BCE has markets in military, waterfront, education, medical, commercial, housing and industrial, according to a release.
“The BCE and TranSystems combination boosts the collective firms’ architecture and buildings systems services while adding a geographic presence in the Pacific Northwest,” TranSystems CEO, Richard Morsches said.
BCE is comprised of a 75-person team that will join the TranSystems national 1,800-person workforce.
In June, TranSystems acquired Baltimore-based Whitney Bailey Cox & Magnani LLC, adding more than 225 employees at the time.
