According to the Associated Builders and Contractors ranking, some Kansas City-area contractors have made the cut to be recognized as the top performers in the nation.
The ABC’s Top Performers 2024 ranks member contractors who achieved STEP Gold or higher and earned ABC’s Accredited Quality Contractor credential in 2023 are eligible for the rankings.
Kansas City-based Burns & McDonnell landed the No.39 in ABC’s top 250 performers. The company also ranked No.23 in ABC’s top general contractors. When ranked by performance in different markets, Burns & McDonnell ranked No.18 for top airport contractors and No.19 for top industrial contractors.
Ingram’s placed Burns & McDonnell No.2 in Top Area General Contractors ranked by total area/headquarter billing for the Ingram’s Power Book 2024 edition.
Columbus, Kansas-based Crossland Construction Co., Inc., which operates a Kansas City branch, placed No.33 in the top 250 performers. The company also ranked No.20 in top general contractors and No.1 for top performers with special designations
When ranked by performance in different markets, Crossland ranked No. 2 in parking, No. 3 in entertainment, No. 4 in museums/monuments/parks, No.8 in health care, No. 12 in education and No. 16 in office contractors.
