A study from WalletHub.com shows Overland Park as the second happiest city in America.

In the 2024 Happiest Cities in America, the personal finance website compared 182 of the largest cities, including the 150 most populated U.S. cities plus at least two of the most populated cities in each state, and compared them all by three factors; emotional & physical well-being, income & employment and community & environment.

Overland Park ranked second in happiest cities in the U.S. with an overall score of 69.78. The city’s ranking for emotional & physical well-being was 6th, income & employment ranked 36th and community & environment ranked 6th.
