Kansas City-based law firm Stinson LLC announced it will be incorporating a generative AI platform into its operations to enhance and streamline services.

Stinson is adopting the Harvey, domain-specific AI for legal and professional services. The integration will be firmwide and will assist Stinson’s attorneys, allowing for more time to focus on analysis, strategy, and risk mitigation.

“The Harvey integration reflects our core mission to deliver exceptional client service while enriching how we collaborate and operate across the firm,” Stinson’s managing partner, Allison Murdock, said in a release. “We’re strategically embracing innovative technology for the benefit of our clients while providing advanced resources to support our attorneys.”

The selection of Harvey was made following an internal analysis of more than 100 attorneys across multiple practice divisions who participated in a pilot group. Murdock also stated that participants’ feedback to the AI platform was “overwhelmingly positive.”

Attorneys used the Harvey platform to generate transcripts and deposition outlines, M&A summaries, legal research and trend analysis, as well as identifying general contract issues and clause drafting.

Stinson is also deploying Ask LexisNexis, which feeds LexisNexis—a separate legal AI solutions platform—content directly into Harvey, further assisting in attorney workflows.
