St. Louis-based Moneta makes expansion to Kansas City

The 150-year old wealth management firm is making a move to the Kansas City market from its St. Louis roots, the firm launching its second expansion office in Kansas City, Kan. ready to serve an already significant client base in the region.

The opening of a Kansas City office for Moneta Group has been announced following the firm’s expansion from its St. Louis headquarters.

Already a major player in the Kansas City market with an established list of clients from the area, the 150-year old wealth management firm made the move to help broaden its impact in the region.

“We already serve a significant client base in Kansas City with $400 million in AUM and we have team members with a desire to relocate to the market to bring our culture and consistency of process,” Eric Kittner, managing partner and chairman at Moneta, said. “We also believe we can continue to attract talent in Kansas City given our size and scale and commitment to our training and development programs, such as MonetaU.”

Moneta currently has $23.7 billion in assets under management and 26,918 client account, according to the SEC.

Kansas City joins Denver as the firm’s first expansion office outside of St. Louis.
