Saint Luke’s will become the new official health care provider and official team care provider of Sporting KC for the 2026 Major League Soccer season.
The 10-year partnership between Sporting KC and Children’s Mercy will come to a close. As part of the deal, Children’s Mercy Park will change its name. Children’s Mercy issued a statement on Friday saying it would not be renewing its sponsorship agreement with the team. An official new name for the stadium has not been announced; however, Sporting KC said it will dub the stadium Sporting Park until a new name can be announced at a later date. The stadium will likely have a new name presented in time for the FIFA World Cup.
