Spencer Fane Combines With Utah-based Law Firm

Kansas City, Mo-based law firm Spencer Fane announced it will merge with the Utah-based Snow Christensen & Martineau, adding nearly 50 full-service practice attorneys.

Snow Christensen & Martineau will join the firm effective March 1, 2024, according to a release by Spencer Fane. Founded in 1886, the firm brings with it a long history that predates Utah’s admission into the Union in 1896.

The firm serves clients in fields such as banking, real estate, health care, government, insurance sectors and more. A similar alignment in services led Spencer Fane to combine with them.

Whalen said. “Our firms recognize these values drive value to our clients, and we are excited to work together to build upon the ways we can be of service to them in new ways as one firm.”

This marks the second combination Spencer Fane has announced this year. The firm combined with California-based Pahl & McCay in early October.
