Spencer Fane Acquires New Mexico-based Montgomery & Andrews

Spencer Fane LLP announced it will combine with New Mexico firm, Montgomery & Andrews PA, adding 11 new attorneys to Spencer Fane.

Following the combination, Spencer Fane will offer its services through a network of more than 530 attorneys across 27 offices nationwide.

“This combination was inspired by similarities in our cultures, a shared focus on effective solutions for businesses of all sizes, and an emphasis on growing talented, diverse teams for the benefit of our clients,” Spencer Fane chair Patrick Whalen said in a release.

The deal brings 11 specialty attorneys to Spencer Fane’s roster including:

  • Suzanne C. Odom
  • Kari E. Olson

  • Jeffrey J. Wechsler

Montgomery & Andrews shareholder Jeff Wechsler will serve as a Spencer Fane Office Managing Partner in New Mexico, according to the release.

“Joining the Spencer Fane platform allows us to expand with a nationwide footprint, continue to attract the best talent, better serve current and future clients, and strengthen the commitment we’ve made to the communities we serve,” Wechsler said in the release.
