Shook Creates National COVID-19 Info. Map

Kansas City-based law firm Shook, Hardy & Bacon has created a national map that has state and city information about their various COVID-19 restrictions and policies, including employer resources.

“We were hearing from clients, who need to make important decisions about their businesses, that they are overwhelmed with content,” said Bill Martucci, who leads Shook’s national employment practice from the firm’s Washington, D.C. and Kansas City offices, said in a press release. “We have merged all that information into one location to save them time and help give them peace of mind.”

The map has consolidated links to state, city and county stay-at-home orders, chambers of commerce, as well as analysis by the law firm. Executives have said that it is important to have all of this information in one place because employment laws vary by state, and several businesses in the Kansas City area have employees that reside in other locales.
