Seats Sill Available for Work-Force Summit



If you’re looking for a seat to Tuesday’s gathering of business leaders, educators and work-force experts on Tuesday morning at the Kauffman Foundation Conference Center, you’re in luck: They’re still available. The fifth annual Greater KC Economic and Workforce Summit runs from 8 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. at the center.

A key presentation from the Mid-America Regional Council will focus on education and workforce data. Working with the Lumina Foundation’s Community Partnership for Attainment, community leaders will use those metrics to shape programs for increasing postsecondary education. Other speakers will address industry partnerships with educational institutions and the role they play in producing a skilled work force.
