Sallee Development Names 25-Year Industry Veteran Rebecca Hill as CFO

Lee’s Summit-based Sallee Development has appointed its new chief financial officer, who brings more than 25 years in the construction real estate industry under her belt.

The real estate developer announced Rebecca Hill as its new CFO, according to a release.

“I look forward to leveraging my experience to contribute to the company’s continued growth and success, and to support the creation of exceptional living spaces for our communities,” Hill said in the release.

Hill brings with her years of experience in the industry. She earned her B.S. in Accounting from St. Mary’s University and an M.B.A. from the University of Kansas before joining a career in public accounting. She joined Trammel Crow Company in 2005 as an office broker. In 2007, Hill then became a controller at NAI Capital Realty.

In the coming years, Hill would take on her first CFO role at Briarcliff Development Company in 2009. She also served in a CFO position at NRES Holdings, LLC and KC Venture Group, LLC in 2015; Summit Homes in Feb. 2019 and Mission Peak Capital in Dec. 2019, according to her LinkedIn profile.

“She brings valuable experience and talents to her new role, as Becki has already proven to be an integral part of the development and overall financial strategy in her past positions,” Sallee Development president and CEO Tyler Sallee said in the release.

Founded in 1989, Sallee Development is a residential community developer in the Kansas City metro area.
