Reopening dates for metro Ford, GM plants pushed back

Plans to reopen by mid-May have been pushed back once again for the Kansas City plants. Ford’s Claycomo plant was set to open May 17 but has been moved to May 24 as an international semiconductor chip shortage continues. The GM Fairfax plant will remain closed through July 5.
