The latest acquisition from Overland Park-based Prime Capital Financial will launch a new division focusing on the needs of ultra-high-net-worth families.
Prime Capital Financial announced its new Prime Capital Family Office following its acquisition of SineCera Capital, an Austin, Texas-based wealth management and family services firm, according to a Monday release. Terms of the deal were not disclosed in the release.
“Their [SineCera] mastery of the UHNW space and commitment to personalized service perfectly align with our mission,” Prime Capital Financial CEO, Glenn Spencer, said in the release. “This move is strategically aligned with Prime Capital’s focus on expanding our service offerings to meet the unique needs of each of our client segments.”
Founded in 2019 by Kevin Kaylakie, SineCera offers services focused on surviving ultra-high-net-worth clients, including estate planning, investment management, complex reporting, bill payment and banking management. It currently advises clients with aggregate assets of $1.55 billion. Hue Partners acted as the advisor to SineCera Capital for this transaction.
“This partnership allows us to broaden our reach and enhance the tailored services we provide, while maintaining the high level of attention and discretion our clients expect. We look forward to building on our success and contributing to Prime Capital’s continued growth,” Kaylakie said in the release.
Kaylakie will assume the role of president of Prime Capital Family Office.
Kaylakie has nearly 20 years of experience in the wealth management industry. Before founding SineCera, he served as vice president of wealth management for Northern Trust Wealth Management for almost 5 years.
Last month, Prime Capital Financial entered a partnership with Duluth, Georgia-based Sugarloaf Wealth Management, and expanded into the Atlanta metro area for the first time.
