Prime Capital Financial Names Julia Stout President of Two Divisions

Overland Park-based Prime Capital Financial has named Julia Stout president of its retirement plan consulting business, Prime Capital Retirement, as well as its financial wellness company, Prime Capital Wellness.

Stout joins Prime Capital with more than 28 years of experience. She previously worked as senior vice president for financial planning company OneDigital. While at OneDigital, Stout was one of the co-founders of the company’s subsidiaries, Fiduciary Plan Advisors.

“Prime Capital Financial understands what is at stake for retirees and has built out an incredible team in its retirement practice,” Stout said in a release.

In her new role, Stout will work with Prime Capital Retirement founder, Scott Colangelo.

“Twenty years ago, I founded the retirement practice to bridge the gaps in education and resources for retirement savers. Jania is precisely the kind of visionary leader we need to carry that mission forward,” Colangelo said in the release. “Her unparalleled dedication and wealth of experience align seamlessly with our values, and I am confident she will guide us to even greater success in the future.”

In July, the company entered a rebrand, changing its name from Prime Capital Investment Advisors to Prime Capital Financial to reflect the company’s services. Sub-brands also had a rebrand to distinguish the company’s three financial services; Prime Capital Retirement, Prime Capital Wealth Management and Prime Capital Wellness.
