PlattForm Advertising, which was founded by Michael Platt in the basement of his Olathe home in 1989 and became a national leader in digital marketing services for higher education, announced today that it was rebranding itself as Keypath Education.
In a news release announcing the change, the company said the switch would allow Keypath to build on Plattform’s success with more than 250 college and university partners. The company’s leadership remains intact, with Steve Fireng as CEO.
“We’ve helped hundreds of institutions within the integrated marketing space, and that foundation allowed us to expand in other ways to adapt to the evolving EDU landscape,” Fireng said in that release. “However, the PlattForm name limited us in describing our evolution as a true full-service partner for institutions. More importantly, it didn’t give our employees an identity that would set us up for future success.”
The change, he said, would help the company emphasize its services in the fields of online program management, course development, career preparation and the integrated marketing excellence.
Keypath has more than 600 employees worldwide, including offices in Chicago, Toronto, London, Melbourne and is headquartered in Lenexa.
