Platte County has joined neighboring Clay County and North Kansas City in rolling back its stay-at-home orders from May 15 to May 4.
However, there were still be a significant number of restrictions on residents and businesses that are set to stay in place until May 31, unless they are extended.
For example, restaurants will not be able to have in-person dining and must only serve via delivery and carry out unless they propose a written safety plan to the county that can demonstrate how they plan to practice social distancing.
Mass gatherings will also be prohibited, including weddings and funerals, but religious services may take place if worshipers maintain a six-foot distance from each other.
