Overland Park-based Dr. Vince Clinical Research, a medical research institute, announced the addition of an in-house laboratory to help streamline new studies.

DVCR is a full-service contract research organization specializing in medical trials focused on neuroscience, substance abuse, pain, cardiometabolic disorders and diseases. The new laboratory aims to help the institute’s clinical pharmacology unit by enabling in-house safety laboratory testing, according to a Tuesday release.

“This new laboratory meets the highest standards of accuracy, reliability and redundancy, offers a full range of testing capabilities and allows us to provide specialized safety lab services to our biopharmaceutical clients.” Dr. Brad Vince, CEO and Chief Medical Officer at DVCR, said in the release.

The laboratory also uses advanced instrumentation to minimize potential downtime. Additionally, those instruments combined with DVCR’s electronic data capture system will ensure enhanced speed and accuracy of data reporting.

Founded in 2021, DVCR operates a 90-bed clinical pharmacology unit outfitted with a clinical laboratory, a surgical suite and a cGMP-compliant pharmacy.
