Kansas City, Kansas-based Orange EV announced Olivier Roubi has been appointed as vice president of rental and leasing and Dr. Zouhair Lazreq as vice president of engineering.
Orange EV, the electric terminal trucks manufacturer with more than 230 fleets across 35 states and internationally, announced the new additions to the leadership team in a Tuesday release. Founded in 2012, the zero-emissions truck manufacturer surpassed a milestone when it sold its 1,000th electric yard truck in 2023.
Roubi has over 25 years of experience in vehicle fleet management across the United States and Europe. He will focus on expanding short-term and long-term lease programs such as customized rental solutions for customers.
Most recently, he served as vice president of sales at B-ON, a European-owned full-electric delivery van manufacturer, in the Washington DC-Baltimore area, according to his LinkedIn profile. He also served as vice president of global business development at Element Fleet Management in Baltimore, Maryland.
Lazreq joins Orange EV with a background in the aerospace, consulting and automotive industries. He was most recently the vice president of global engineering at Bridgestone Americas in Nashville, Tennessee.
Lazreq holds a Ph.D. in acoustics and vibrations from the University of Technology of Compiègne, France, and a master’s in engineering management from Wayne State University.
