Olathe-based lighting manufacturer, EiKO Global, has selected Yavor Kolarov to be its chief executive officer.

Kolarov, who joined the company in August 2024, was promoted to CEO, effective May 1, according to a release.

Kolarov first joined EiKO as president and chief revenue officer. Additionally, he brings over a decade of leadership experience in the lighting industry. He spent over 13.5 years at OSRAM, serving as vice president of sales and marketing, according to his LinkedIn page. Acuity Brands acquired OSRAM in 2021 and Kolarov would follow. After the acquisition, Kolarov spent another 3 years with the company and most recently served as vice president and general manager of IOTA emergency lighting.

The company was founded 43 years ago by Gary Withers, chairman of the board of managers. EiKO is a global lighting manufacturer with offices and distribution centers in the US, Canada, and Europe.

“Yavor brings exceptional expertise in all aspects of business management and lighting technology, coupled with a genuine commitment to understanding and meeting customer needs,” Withers said in the release.

Withers will continue to serve as chairman.
