New combined health plan offered through CVS Health, Aetna

CVS Health, parent organization of health care company Aetna, have announced they are offering a health plan that combines both companies’ services to employers in the Kansas City market.

A new, combined-services plan is now being offered by CVS Health and Aetna to those who live or work in the Kansas City area.

CVS Health is parent organization of Aetna and together the two companies are offering what they call the “Aetna Connected Plan with CVS Health.”

The plan combines each companies’ services, pairing CVS Health’s free, 1 to 2-day prescription delivery and discounts with Aetna’s I-35 Performance Network.

The campaign is currently being targeted to employers in the Kansas City region with over 101 employees, the release said, with coverage beginning in January 2021.
