Wichita-based MPR Acquires Credentialing Experts to Expand Regional Footprint

Wichita-based Medical Provider Resources announced it has acquired Credentialing Experts, a healthcare credentialing firm in Kansas City.

Credentialing Experts is a credentialing services and enrollment firm. Through this collaboration, MPR aims to strengthen its regional footprint by enabling its clients to benefit from expanded resources and broader service capabilities. The company was founded in 2003 and operates with a team of six members, including leadership staff.

“Partnering with MPR brings a consistency and a diversity of services that is exciting to bring to our clients and staff that will ensure a clear vision for healthcare now and into the future,” President/Owner, Credentialing Experts, Ann Yokley, said in a release.

Both organizations will continue to operate with a focus on service continuity while leadership teams work through a thoughtful, phased integration over the coming year.

“Credentialing Experts brings deep expertise, strong client relationships, and a shared commitment to accuracy and service,” CEO of Medical Provider Resources, Marla Booher, said in the release. “Together, we are better positioned to support providers, health systems, and facilities across our region.”

The integration process will begin rolling out throughout 2026, and the combined company’s clients and employees can expect continuity in the services it provides.

Founded in 2011, MPR provides verification and credentialing services to hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, long-term care facilities, and health care networks.
