Missouri March Home Sales Plunge

Missouri home sales plunged 19.4 percent year over year in March, with just over 6,200 homes sold throughout the state, according to Missouri Realtors.

However, the average sales price increased from $192,329 to $205,035, a 6,8-percent jump, though the total dollar volume sold year over year dropped 14 percent.

The Missouri Realtor numbers follows last weeks’s report that new-home sales nationally fell by 15.4 percent in March.
