Missouri-based StorageMart adds new facility to Kansas City area

A brand new, fully climate-controlled facility has been built across the state line to serve the eastern Olathe and west Overland Park markets.

The completion of its newest facility in Olathe has allowed StorageMart to add 784 climate-controlled storage units in the area.

This follows the acquisition of Go Storage on 8th Street in Downtown Kansas City in April, where the company added 310 units of storage space to downtown.

Now the largest privately-owned, family-operated storage company in the world, its roots are traced back to its founding in Columbia, Mo.

The new facility boasts features and amenities to improve customer convenience, the company stating that all customers will have access to 24/7 customer service and the tenant portal, allowing them to easily manage their account online.

“We will be convenient for anyone in the Olathe or Overland Park area looking for climate-controlled storage units while keeping our brand promise of Easy, Clean, Service,” Nick Farran, regional manager at StorageMart said.

“All access is controlled with individual codes and cameras to increase security and safety for customers,” Kevin Boggs, regional director of operations for the central U.S., said.
